Remembering Memorial Day

Today I am thankful that I have never lost a love one to war. My youngest brother is currently in Iraq, his wife will be deployed there shortly. My other brother is home; he returned from Iraq last year. I have an Uncle and a cousin in Afghanistan. While I do not condone this war and I think that it is a terrible waste of life, I am proud of my family, who do what they think is necessary to protect our country. It's not easy to step up to the plate and put your life on the line for what you believe, and today I honor all the men and women who do just that.

THANK YOU!
