Wiki Your Birthday?

I saw this over at Owlhaven yesterday and since I'm feeling lazy this week, I thought it would be a perfect. It was fun to go through the list of famous people and pick out the interesting ones.

1. Go to Wikipedia and type in your birthday (month and day only):

December 30 is the 364th day of the year (365th in leap years) in the Gregorian calendar, with 1 day remaining

2. List events that occurred on that day of interest to you:

1460 - Wars of the Roses: Battle of Wakefield.
1919 - Lincoln's Inn in London admits its first female bar student.
1922 - The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics is formed.
1924 - Edwin Hubble announces the existence of other galaxies.
1948 - The play Kiss Me, Kate opens for the first of 1,077 performances

3.List a Few Birthdays:

1678 - William Croft, English composer (d. 1727)
1865 - Rudyard Kipling, British writer, Nobel Prize laureate (d. 1936)
1928 - Bo Diddley, American singer and musician
1959 - Tracey Ullman, English actress and singer
1965 - Heidi Fleiss, American madam
1975 - Tiger Woods, American golfer

4. List a death:

2006 - Saddam Hussein, former Iraqi President

5. List a holiday or observance (if any):

The fifth day of Christmas in Western Christianity.
R.C. Saints - Pope Felix I (optional memorial), Saint Sabinus
Philippines - Rizal Day
Freedom Day for Scientologists.

Ok, I knew I had the same birthday as Tiger but Heidi Fleiss...? I'm not sure how I feel about the whole Saddam thing either and maybe any Scientologists in the crowd can enlighten me to what in the heck Freedom Day is.

This was a fun little exercise that didn't require much brain power! Anyone else wanna give it a try?
